We have expanded our Animal Welfare Efforts With a Pet Food Pantry in Aruba!

The One Love Foundation, Inc. Pet Food Pantry operates as a walk-in community resource located at the open-access shelter, Centro di Control di Cacho. Our pantry is a safe, judgment-free space where support, compassion, and education come first. The program is designed to provide temporary supplemental feeding assistance for families experiencing financial hardship, helping pets remain in the loving homes where they belong.

Since opening in March 2023, the pantry has been funded entirely through generous monthly donations from supporters in the United States. The program’s primary mission is intake diversion—helping families care for their pets during difficult times and preventing unnecessary owner surrenders. To qualify for assistance, pets must be sterilized through one of Aruba’s many FREE spay and neuter clinics, reinforcing our commitment to humane and responsible care.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nathyy Ventura, who manages the pantry and whose dedication and compassion make this program possible. She works closely with families to ensure eligibility requirements are met, provides education and guidance, distributes food and supplies with care, and maintains detailed records to help track the pantry’s ongoing impact within the community.

These numbers represent hundreds of pets who have been able to stay where they belong—with the families who love them.
